hi sub,
sorry to bother you again.
i've just seen a previous post where you pointed out something to somebody with the same error. i think its in the config.exe - native.log
mine says the following
00:15:32.312 VERBOSE getSetting(PreferredDecoder)
00:15:32.343 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: default
i know you checked mine already but ive reinstalled and am still seeing this message. is this normal?
cheers

No, error is fine and wont be causing your problem. Its just because there is no video decoder on you machine with the name 'default'. If you want to get rid of the warning message you can explicity set the video decoder setting to something other than default. (zhere was a bug in this area in previous releases, but that is corrected in v0.93)

You error occurs soon after this, where this a bunch of messages missing.

I am using the Nova-T USB2 and it behaves perfectly under GBPVR but I am still running 92.11, rather than the latest release.
Have you checked all the obvious things such as does it work OK using the Hauppauge application and have you then closed that application to free up the tuner before using Sub's great application?
Good Luck

Hi,
Thanks for replying. I knew there had to be someone out there who had this working ok. I am running the latest version so i may try to roll back.
I certain it works fine under hauppage software and its all closed down when i start up gbpvr. the error does mention that it could still be in use though. am i missing something perhaps i should be closing down?
cheers

Hi,
Just tried the previous version and i get exactly the same error. However after i click ok on the error i get another message. It mentions config.exe and a file called atlcomcli.h line 150 expression p!=0
i think its something to do with .net.
Sub, does this mean anything to you?
I even contacted hauppage today and went through my whole setup. From their side everything is working perfectly. I can watch all the channels and record no problem using the hauppage software.
Seems a shame i might not be able to use this great software anymore. I was so impressed with it when i had it working i was going to make a donation when i got it working with the new tuner :-(
cheers
