Can NextPVR be run on Windows Server 2016?

I don't know - probably. It's been used successfully on other versions of Windows Server. You typically need to install Microsoft BDA components separately, since they're not included in Windows Server by default.

To add to that, is there anyway to migrate settings, recording schedules, etc?

You can copy the npvr.db3 and config.xml from the original machine. For recordings to show up, they'll need to be at the same location on the new machine.

Hi I have been running Server 2016 and NextPVR since I have installed Server 2016 on 23/03/2017 without too much issues.

You will most definitely need the BDA files, search google on how to do this, Server 2016 is based on Windows 10, so you will need to get that version, earlier may work as well perhaps?
Same things as usual, dont forget to check firewall rules enable inbound traffic to NextPVR. Other then that business as usual.
