Hello, I'm new to NPVR and this forum. I'm attempting to setup IPTV in NPVR using RASP TV, which is a very stable service, I've been using it to almost 2 years now on their native app and in KODI. Thus far I've managed to setup the channels and the EPG. I'm using the LAV decoders and my laptop is Windows 10. All is working as expected up to watching a program. I click the episode and get the menu options, but when I click watch I get the following error 'Unable to find available capture device'.

I'm not sure if I'm missing a 'capture device', or if there's just a setting somewhere that I've missed. I'm attaching my error log, any assistance would be most appreciated.

It looks like http://watch.rasp.tv is rejecting NextPVR's attempts to connect for some reason. I haven't got time to check why right now, but I'll try to take a closer look later today.

Thanks! I saw that message in the log file too. I wasn't sure if it meant the provider was blocking, or if I had the wrong 'capture device' and it couldn't make a connection.

These IPTV providers do all sorts of non-standard stuff to try stopping people from copying their streams etc, and it's likely they're doing something NextPVR hasn't encountered yet.

Some channels like MLB Network and the NFL Sunday Ticket channels are working, but almost all other channels are still giving me the original error I received. Must have done something right, it must just be one little change somewhere. Either on my machine, or for Rasp TV.

Hey sub, not to be pushy, but do you have any insights on why most of my channels aren't working?

I spent some time looking at it. A lot of these IPTV providers use an HTTP 302 redirect error code to redirect the player to the real url that is hosting their stream. In the case of rasp.tv, then seem to be using a "HTTP 301 permanently moved" error code to achieve something similar, but then stringing multiple of these 302/301 calls together, possibly to try hiding where they're really hosting it. NextPVR had not come across this before, so isn't currently handling it. I'm going to have a go implementing support for it, but not sure I'll have time today.

Sorry, I haven't looked into any further - I've been really busy with my day job, so haven't really had any NextPVR development time available.
