Sub, if I extend the end time of a show and there is a recording following on that same "tuner" I am tring to figure out the expected impact on the next recording.

Which has priority, the new end time or a scheduled start time?

Will the limited and full multi rec. simple take place at the scheduled time if there are overlaps instead of matching start and end times?

If it is a tuner like the HDHR Prime is it possible that the following recording will fail because when another tuner isn't availalb?

Finally would it be better to increase the post-padding if I wanted to ensure the following shows are recorded on time?

I think the currently recording show would have priority, and the next up recording would look elsewhere for an available tuner. I guess it would fail with 'no available tuner' if it couldn't find a free one.

Yes, it'd probably be better to increase the post padding, so that the second recording would take priority.

?? How does increasing post-padding prioritize the second recording?

@sub thanks, would the second recording be flagged as a conflict or just silently fail?

@jcole998 It is not really prioritizing, post padding is optional which means sub would be able to override it on the subsequent recording if it was there.

I'm not actually sure. I'm away from home for another week, so not in a position to test it at the moment.

Thanks, Martin. That makes sense.
