Searching the Kodi wiki first is a good choice. I would suggest this https://kodi.wiki/view/Artwork/Cache#Adv...tures13.db but be sure to read the warnings.

Thank you for the suggestion, Martin, but the material presented in the above link is simply way over my head.

I noticed that some of the channel logos were not updating on my Windows machine too, so this is a Kodi problem, evidently one that's been around for awhile, so it's likely to stay around.

On my Windows machine, I found a way to assign a directory of channel logos, then I chose to "search for missing logos" and I ended up getting correct logos assigned to all my channels.

On the RPi running OSMC, I tried to do the same thing but "search for missing logos" didn't work. I clicked around the OSMC interface and found a way to "manage" channels. There, you can manually assign logos to channels. Moreover, the logos are actually stored on the RPi somewhere (I can't tell where from the UI), but they never made it to the pvr.nextpvr folder. I found the correct logos for the channels and manually assigned them.

So, I actually have correct logos for my channels, at least for now. I'm not sure they'll "stick", but we'll see. I decided to post this here in case others are having similar problems. I could add some detail if anyone is interested.

Thanks again for your help.

With the current approach you don't really need to search for new icons for new channels they will automatically get uploaded with an EPG update. The implementation does not allow for updates however they are cached twice once by NextPVR and then by Kodi and both images need to be deleted to make it change.
