It's on my todo list.

You can just manually add them in the config.xml if you need them now. ie, the app supports multiple directories, but the UI doesn't currently let you add them.

Some may wonder why we need this. To make things interesting there can be special dir in which NPVR would delete/expire any less important stuff after 30 days. That would be consistent with some VoD/OTT services.

I, and I assume others, would like to be able to have full permissions to the recording folders and their files.

Not in this case.
