NextPVR i.mjh.nz [Failed: Recording interrupted]

Hello all!

Love the plugin still, but I'm getting loads of failed recordings on multiple channels:
TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2, RUSH, Sky Open, Sky Open+1

Good news is the recordings which are working seem to have audio (previous problem) but loads are failing.
Isn't a disk space issue:
vdruser@ubuntu2020:/srv/vdr/video$ df -h | grep md
/dev/md1                1.8T  1.3T  505G  72% /srv/vdr/video

It's not a permissions issue:
su - nextpvr
touch /srv/vdr/video/NextPVR/Judge\ Judy/Season 25/TEST


Any ideas?

Are the mjh URL's still reliable? There was a takedown this August. Maybe the URL's change frequently now?

The errors are going to be related the difference is the whether NextPVR or ffmpeg is doing the streaming.

Have you considered using DVB?

The mjh.nz links have been good over the years (or at least these New Zealand ones), and very reliable. They're generally just a redirect to the broadcaster's own stream urls.

I did notice recently that some of streams stopped working. I'd specifically noticed the issue with the TVNZ streams. I updated the streams, and noticed they changed from https://i.mjh.nz/tvnz-1.m3u8 to https://i.mjh.nz/.r/tvnz-1.m3u8. I'm not sure why this new ".r/" was added, but after that the streams started working again. When I try those urls in VLC, only the newer .r version works. That's possibly what caused your issue?

ie, you might need to update those channels so they get the newer urls.

Not sure about the mjh URLS actually!  I've not touched them.

I have 2 DVB cards in the machine, but not all the channels are broadcast OTA unfortunately.

Yeah, not sure why they changed them, but it was something they changed on the mjh side.
