Rec service crashing when trying iptv streams that work in vlc

With NextPVR v5, you download NPVR.zip, and extract it to somewhere like "c:\program files\npvr". That directory contains all the executables, and a 'data' subdirectory which contains all the static files. It'll dynamically create a c:\users\public\NPVR-data directory for the user data files (stuff that changes).

i got it running on a 64bit machine finally..now what is default login?
can i place the user data in another dir?

I though it was on the Windows install page, but it seems it wasn't. I've added it.

You can, by setting an NEXTPVR_DATADIR_USERDATA system environment variable.

i thought so..[data user dir] sweet...finally got it running on 64bit system to play with..
still lots of config as channel epg mappings are tedious on new ver, not in alphabetical order so hard to find in 4k+ list..! lol
My iptv EPG downloads that work fine in v4 show no channels inside when trying to map.
What is required in the EPG xml to be considered valid for mapping?

i tried a url, but it wouldn't even open file...then a local copy..still no channels inside..
need a snippet? they have matching tvg-id= in there..

I suggest calling it a night and trying the new release which should be out soon, and report back.
