Yes and I even loaded the media player it came with.

It is possible that your device doesn't support Direct Show, you can run FilterCheck.exe from the NextPVR program folder just in case and upload your the log file it produces.

Are your versions of vlc current? It seems to be there.

I see you've got a Hauppauge device in there. Have you got WinTV software that came with that? If so, install it, and that'll get the SoftPVR components installed. They'll also work with your AverTV device.

I was going to suggest the same as sub, although you will be stuck with v4.
