I thought MP was directshow based too, if you have a log from it running there we might see the name it used.

Very interesting. I had uninstalled MP so that I could test NPVR. I just reinstalled it and the tuner does not show up. I will have to wait as NPVR is recording now. I want to stop it and restart MP2 to find the analog tuner. I will let you know later what is going on and send you the log file. Thanks my friend.

Got it - Bad usb connection. You know how heavy usb dongles fall out on their own sometimes. LOL

Does it show now in NextPVR or VLC by any chance?

Not in NPVR but VLC plays something. I have never used VLC before so I may not have set it up right. The VLC audio is not very good compared with the AVerMedia player.

The should be using direct show so I can't explain the difference. Make sure you use the proper bit rate etc.

iHeartRadio is a chain do you have call letters and frequency of a particular channel
