Backing Up Channels and importing new Channels?

Hello,

Couple questions...Is there a way now or proposed to back up our channel configurations?

What happens to our channel configurations if we add more channels in the future? Suppose I want to add MLB Season Ticket this Spring from my eyepeeTeeVee service. Will my current configuration be overwritten?

I will be adding an export/import channels feature at some stage, but it's not there today.

It depends on how you import you m3u list. If you carefully pruned it down into something useful, then you won't have many options until sub add the filter on the update command and even then any deleted streams from the groups you have will be readded.

If it was me I'd create a new IPTV list with just the MLB group if they have one an leave edited working channels alone.
