Apologies if this feature already exists.

I'd like to be able to keep the aspect ratio of the original source whilst resizing the GBPVR window, or alternatively just have black borders around a correctly proportioned source.

Cheers,

James

use ffdshow-->video decoder settings-->rezize 800x600...rezize always...keep aspect ratio. Everything will be fixed.

Also you may want to modify the irremote.ini file in C:/windows. At the end of the file you have the GB-PVR setting for your remote. Change the Red button for {f7}.

F7 on your keyboard is the key to cycle though aspect ratios in GB-PVR.

Assigning a button on the remote makes it easier to change it from there.

You've got to download ffdshow and make the settings above and then select it in config, Misc, Deinterlacer

Ok - I tried that and it made no difference!

Perhaps I have misundertood the topic all together. I thought this applied to watching live TV and the fact that one could resize the gbpvr window and screw up the aspect ratio. Am I wrong here?

Cheers
