Having similar problems here both with the web interface and via Kodi, some channels play, some play for a few seconds, some don't play at all. I have attached log files, hope they help as V5 looks great.

Is it always the same channels? ie, are there some channels that consistently don't play? If you do a recording on one of those channels, do you get a file? is that file playable in NextPVR or any other player?

It seems to mostly the DVB-T channels, the DVB-S channels seem to play more reliably. I haven't tried any recordings as yet, can give it a try and see.
You've got to be able to transcode at real time 1x speed.
For Kodi it looks like there might be a multirec issue. Can you play files when the mux is not being used?
Could you also fix your schedules direct login information v5 is better than v4 at hitting SD with errors but it looks like work still needs to be done

I haven't had any issues with playing or transcoding anything else, Next PVR is installed on a 6 core 8GB system, I would have thought that would be fast enough, how fast does it need to be? I don't intend to play via a web browser generally, it would be mostly playing on Kodi on a RPi in another room.
Play what files when the mux is not being used? Do you mean recordings? I have just tried recording one of the channels that was stopping and it seems to play fine from a recording on Kodi.

If I were you, I'd focus on specific channels, to see if it's always those same channels.
Also, as I mentioned, try a recording. This will help narrow it down to a capture or a playback issue.

Ok ignoring the web browser streaming and focusing only on Kodi, it seems to be the HD channels RTE1 and RTE2 on the DVB-T tuners (I have one channel tuned on each tuner as they are on different frequencies), channel will tune for a moment and then stop after a second or two of playing. Recordings of same channels play fine. SD channels using the same tuners seem to play ok. All DVB-S channels both HD and SD seem to play fine.
Can you post the logs from an attempt to watch one of these channels via Kodi, and let me know what time you tried, so I know where to look in the logs?

Just did it there at 23:15, started RTE2 and it stopped and then RTE1 and it stopped.
