Plays & Stops

Client of V5 is working good with recordings, but a big problem with live TV. It wants to play for several minutes and then just stops. Goes back to the main menu. Gets to be a drag to restart all the time.
Will this require a dump of logs right after one of the stops?

Am just seeing this as well. Hope you don't mind if I add my logs in the meantime ?

Should point out, just to be clear, now I remember, Live TV plays fine in Chrome, but it stops after a while in the NextPVR app which is what I assumed you were talking about. Just tried now and it still stops (seemed to take quite a bit longer though). Also haven't tried playing recordings at all.

If its still happening to you, might be worth posting a log (not that you have to listen to me obviously). May possibly show that its actually something different (or of course the same thing). Up to you of course.

I'm about, but I've been pretty busy with non-NextPVR stuff the last few days, so a bit lacking in time.

I don't seem to be seeing this issue here.

Toe help me get a feel for what type of problem it is, if you pause for a few seconds after starting live, then resume playback, does it still stop?

Doesn't seem to make any difference. Let it play Live TV for 30 sec, pause it for 10, let it carry on and it stops about 5 minutes later. Tried it twice.

If you time it, is it the same amount of time each time? (around 1/3 the duration of your live tv buffer)

Tried again and so it seems, about 6m40s of a 20min buffer. Only actually timed it once...

Ok, so that is a good clue.

If you store the service, and manually run NextPVRServer.exe, then try again, does it make any difference?
