Assuming you are using the TSReader5 from the end of December, sub needs to look into way it isn't reading the slip file, it actually isn't around 10 minutes it is close to 400 seconds of one file. You can bump the minutes of the buffer up to a very large number in the web server and I expect it will play longer.

Many thanks Martin. We seem to be getting closer to the source of the problem.

I managed to lose one copy of my reply when messing with the Demux issues. In that lost copy I confirmed that the date of the TSReader5 file is 29/12/2019 14:50 and I recopied this just in case.

Let's see what sub can glean from this.

Latest v5 release seems to have fixed this problem. Onwards and upwards :-)

Now this is very odd. Having had a month of reliable viewing I decided to remove my v4 installation and just run v5. Previously I ran v4 on port 8866 and v5 on 8867. Now I have one v5 installation using 8866. When viewing live TV the buffer failure issue after ten minutes (or is it 400 seconds) has returned. I can record TV over a much longer period.

This makes on sense. Is there any advice on how I should move forward?

Thanks Paul

You’ll probably need to post some logs.

Thanks sub. Logs attached. Let me know if there's anything else I can provide.

That may be a different issue, did you click record while watching "Miles Davis Birth of the Cool" or after it failed?

Also is the recording good quality the signal seems low.

I watched the Miles Davis programme last night. To overcome the buffer fail issues I started a "Quick Record" session and then watched this recording a minute or so later. This allowed me to view the programme uninterrupted. At the end I deleted the recording.

The recording quality was good.

For the logs I submitted today I watched two programmes live until the buffer fail and then downloaded the logs.

Thanks yeah the timing does look like the original problem You probably will need to follow the steps that you did earlier to confirm.

Also not related but this seems to be a common error you have been having and this is a file that sub doesn't distribute anymore.
