Will auto-commercial cut be added?

Is there any plans with upcoming versions, now that transcoding functionality has been recently added, that might allow auto-cutting out commercials when using transcode functions, and also possibly cutting out commercials if using MPEG-2 format (Non-transcode,'keep mpeg2' format)? That would be really nice.

No, I will not be adding this. You'll need to use external plugins or utilities to do this.
