recording Service error

I am new and just got GBPVR intstalled and watching TV fine with a PVR150 with the Quartz.ddl replacement. I then tried to move on to recording somethings and whent the times comes to start the recording I am getting this error. Is there any place with error codes or does anyone know what this means? I have the latest PVR drivers and GBPVR software.

Can you post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files?

Hmm, I cant seen any attempt to record in those logs. The logs are overwritten each time you restart things. Are you sure these logs contain an attempt to record something? If so, what were you trying to record and at what time?

ok tried again today same issue. Tried change 35 Star Trek at 3:00OM EST. Here are the new logs. If I look at the change guide the show is in read if I click on it gets an error "Failed to communicate with Recording Service".

I guess I can upgrade to new version and give it a try if you think that is best. I might also try a clean GBPVR install.

Sorry, I dont know. There doesnt seem to be any obvious cause in the logs.

Nutshell: update to the beta drivers at shspvr.com - the latest non-beta 150 drivers from Hauppauge's site have issues. After updating the problem goes away.

I installed 23209. I don't recall why I didn't do the 23236 drivers... must have been something on the message boards that kept me from it, or perhaps I didn't see it.

I installed 23209 and that was the fix. Thanks for everyones help.
