EPG Update using XMLTV Automate

Hi all,

I'm using XMLTV automate to update my tv listings files. I have it set up to auto update late at night, but it seems that the gbpvr recording service locks this file preventing xmltv automate from updating it. Is there anyway to avoid this problem? Do I have to manually stop the service before each update?

I never noticed that! I'm continually stopping and starting as I do my development and never noticed. I'll try it out tonight, and fix it for the next release.

I changed the batch files for xmltv automate so that they stop the recording service and restart when the update is done.

I added:

net stop "gb..."

...

net start "gb..."

this seems to solve the issue for now.

On an unrelated note, is there a way to change the volume in live tv mode? Is it possible to be able to use the number keys on the remote or keyboard to change the channel?
