Windows Tray App

Running Web App from the Windows Tray App, I noticed:
clicking on Channels then on a channel (or even on TVGuide, then on a show and then on Watch Now or also from the upper right corner of the page) the screen appears gray without transmission and a red warning that says "Browser blocked video playback" but now, clicking right on the page and then on Play, the transmission resurrects.
Likewise, it happens by going to see a recording from the Recording page: same msg, then same as said.
Is Webb App a maintained app? What is the cause?

I am using edge (Windows 10) and don't have similar problems playing other media.

If it's telling you "Browser blocked video playback", then that's what happened. Browser can block video playback by default, under the assumption it's some auto-playing advert. Enable it for that site in your browser and it'll be fine after that.

thanks, it could be (even if it happens only here) but I didn't  find where verify or change edge settings for video media.

Most browsers block on a site by site basis. That's not NextPVR support related.

I do wish I could stop CNN from autoplaying on my tablet and phone.

When it's blocking video, there may even be a symbol somewhere in the browser address bar which you can click.

I clicked the icon beside the URL in Edge and got the permission page.

Edge Settings ... Type ... Video ... Into search box at top left .. that's how I made the screenshot.
