upgrading to version 5.0

i have searched and searched but can't seem to find an answer. had everything working perfectly with version 4.2xx even changing channels. once i upgrade to version 5.0 my blaster won't change channels. why is that?

My Channel changer exe and parameter directory was in teh NextPVR Data folder; I had to point it to a new folder, where the exe actually was. Also, apparently one of the blaster executables was not included in the v5 installer package; sub was going to include one soon. k.

Did you copy your database over from v4, or did you set it up again from scratch?
On the Settings->Devices screen, if you click the device, in the channel list does 'Details' column list your blaster? or just the audio/video input?

I think it's case of having imported your channels without setting a blaster.
What blaster are you wanting to use?

It wont use a blaster unless you explicitly tell it to when you setup your channels. ie, you would have needed to say the name of an executable, and any arguments to run.
If you want to use the base that is included with the Colossus2, you'll probably need to add this file in to your NextPVR directory, and point the blaster executable at it. Another user had pointed out this was missing a couple of days ago, and it was added for the next build. |
