hi there. When i went to watch gbpvr tv there suddenly was no sound. But the recorded show had sound. Currently my speakers are plugged into the sound card and not directly in the wintvpvr 150. does the sound incoming from the cable automatically patch over to the sound card and then out to the speakers or do i need some sort of patch cable. i have a the new updates as of 1 month ago..If you can help that would be fantastic.

Your awesom in advance.

Are you running the new v0.94.8 release? It contained a work around for this PVR150 bug.

Having the same sound problem since I put in a PVR-150 next to my PVR-350. Occassionally, there is a stutter in the TV output (while playing live TV) followed by normal operation expect that there is no sound anymore.

Changing the channel helps.....but it is quite annoying!

Reading this thread it appears that it is a PVR-150 related problem. It is also mentioned that as of version 94 the problem is solved. However, I have version 9514 running and I still have the problem.

What now................................?

Hauppauge ended up releasing some newer drivers which corrected an issue with NTSC PVR150s often getting no sound.
