Sub,

First off, great product. I love the setup, customizations, and overall look and feel. Hats off to you and all of the plugin developers.

I am having a few problems though that I hope you can help me with. I know you are a busy guy supporting a few thousand of us and all, plus cranking out new releases all the time, so thanks in advance for the help.

1. Using timeshift on live tv freezes everything and I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and kill the task. I also ran into this a couple times with FF on other recordings (not done by GBPVR).

2. NetRadio has stopped working. This is the logfile snippet:
9/5/2005 10:33:55 PM.377 VERBOSE [2] getValue() loading new key/value into cache: /settings/NetRadioBufferSize
9/5/2005 10:33:55 PM.377 VERBOSE [2] getValue: /settings/NetRadioBufferSize : 96000
9/5/2005 10:33:55 PM.377 INFO [2] NetRadio buffer size is: 96000
9/5/2005 10:33:55 PM.738 VERBOSE [2] HideMouse ref=-1
9/5/2005 10:34:08 PM.977 VERBOSE [556] About to start playback of C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Recordings\gbnetradio-2.mp3
9/5/2005 10:34:09 PM.107 ERROR [556] Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
9/5/2005 10:34:09 PM.167 ERROR [556] at DirectShowPlayerBase.playMusicFile(DirectShowPlayerBase* , UInt16* filename, HWND__* ownerHwnd)
at NativeUtilities.MediaHelper.playMusicFile(String filename, Form form)
at u.a(String A_0, Boolean A_1, Boolean A_2)
at aw.g()

3. I am having clipping problems around the edges of the screen. I am loosing 2-3% of the image on each side in TV, DVD or video file playback.

Anyway, if you can help, great, if not, oh well. Thanks again for the super product.

This usually relates to the video/audio decoders in use on your machine. A list of those components which were used for playback is dumped in the gbpvr.exe-native.log file.

zip and email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. Include a link back to this post so I know what the logs are for.

There isnt much control over this in GB-PVR. You could try editing the <HorizontalZoom> and <VerticalZoom> settings in config.xml.

You logs seem to indicate one of the GB-PVR filters is not registered. Can you try running the following, then try again?

regsvr32 "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\scflt.ax"

Worked great. #2 is fixed. I will mess around with some settings and see if I can't figure out where the a/v is off for #1.

Thanks sub!

I messed with my vid card drivers and got the clipping issue fixed. I just installed the v0.94.8 update and timeshift is working!! Great stuff. Thanks sub.
