Ok now I undertand now, you want Main Menu on the mouse popup to stop playback that is for sub.  It's the ctrl-s that confused me, you can also click stop from the popup.

"you can also click stop from the popup": yes, I said it in post #5.
But , I repeat, there being the item, it should also work by selecting it from the drop-down window.

It is for sub to answer. These seem like very, very low priority changes given that he will be redoing the client.
