xmltv tag for program significance

Hi,

I saw some programs in the guide downloaded from schedule direct has a "Live" label at the lower right corner, then I found the value comes from the "significance" column in the "EPG_EVENT" table. Currently one of my TV sources is using custom XMLTV file to import guide and I have a way to determine whether a program is "Live" or not. My question is, what's the tag in xmltv file that maps to the "significance" column, or does it exist?

With xmltv, there isn't a tag that populates the significance column directly.

However it will populate it for some combinations of data:
Like season 1, episode 1 gets 'Series Premiere'. Episode 1 of any other season gets 'Season Premiere"
<category> having any of the following will also get populated into the significance: "Series Premiere", "Season Premiere", "Season Finale", "Series Finale"

I am open to the idea of adding support for the 'Live' significance in xmltv, if we can find a sensible place for it.

It's not currently possible to get the Live significance with xmltv. You can only get it with Schedules Direct EPG source.

Does NextPVR xmltv parser strictly follows the xmltv.dtd or allow custom tags? adding a custom tag (like LiveTapeDelay provided by SD) seems a cleaner solution than deriving info from combination of data.

Soundls like sub was suggesting a "sensible" place meaning markup that fits all users and not really custom markup.

I could probably add support for it through a genre/category that says <category>Live</category>, rather than adding non-standard tags.
