no analog access and only limited dvb-c?

hauppauge WinTV-HVR-935C-HD with dvb-c, dvb-t and analog, connects through a dedicated usb-port on the back of the motherboard and genuin copy of windows 10.

The analog part is not shown at all in the software its like it doesnt exist, dvb-c shows but when scanning for channels it only finds 10 of 17 channels.
This happens with both nvpr v4 and v5, the crappy software hauppauge supplied loads analog channels just fine and finds all digital channels as well.

Is nvpr not compatible with the tv-card?

NextPVR V5 does not currently support analaog devices

The most common cause of missing channels is a weak signal to the tuner ... What happens if you test with all splitters and extension cables removed?

Careful, the author of the "crappy" Hauppauge software is also the author of WinTV so you aren't going to buy any friends with statements like that. My experience with all the tuner cards is the Hauppauge software is the most powerful I have seen that comes included free with the cards. It was never designed to be a full PVR.

The world has pretty much moved on from analog TV and VCR's though and it is definitely legacy support at this time.

Nah - I'm not bothered. There certainly was a lot of crappy bits in the Hauppauge software.

I inherited a pile crap from WinTV6...a lot of which I had to keep, but I substantially improved things in WinTV7. Even then, there was a lot of legacy hanging around.
