It takes almost 10 seconds before the video loads. I have 2 HdHomerun devices...Connect 4 tuner model, and the original 2 tuner model. This issue occurs using Kodi 18.9 and Kodi 19.1...AND the desktop version of NPVR. I saw that there is a new Nshared.dll....I installed it and restarted the Win10 computer....issue still exists. Is there any way to speed this up? Below is what I found in the logs...I am on version 5.1.4.210802 on NextPvr.5.1.4.2108025.1.4.2108025.1.4.210802

Failed to start stream: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at NShared.Shim.InputSourceHTTP.StartStream(String target)
  at NShared.Shim.GenericCapture.StartStream(String target, String& reason)
2021-08-13 15:51:27.649 [ERROR][7] Unable to StartStream(): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

This happens several times and then finally loads.

Thanks for the help in advance.

You need to attach a full set of logs generated in a .zip file from the main settings screen.

You didn't even tell us which method/type of HDHR devices in NextPVR you are using. And that information is critical because how they work/behave differs significantly for them.

Post the logs showing the slow startup of video in the desktop app, and I'll take a look.

In the same app (nextpvr.exe), once video is working, if you press up/down keys, and select a new channel from the mini-guide, how long is it taking to see video of the new channel?

I have attached the logs....also a screen shot of the devices. It takes about the same amount of time to switch channels on some, but others take longer....the same amount that I mentioned in my first post.

You made a mistake copying an HDHR tuner to a legacy tuner. Remove the legacy devices 10397D6D and readd it.

That helped a lot....thanks Martin....so, to be clear....I cannot copy the channels from the other tuner???...I have to run a scan on this device on both tuners?

Yes two scans and then you can merge them.

I believe that what Martin was saying is:

When you originally set it up, you scanned on only one of the tuners in NextPVR and then for each of the other 5, you just accepted the option to "copy the configuration". But you're 2 HDHR devices don't have the same tuning settings, so copying the configuration from a tuner on one doesn't work on a tuner on the other.

First, always remember to make a backup copy of your npvr.db database file! (And probably back it up after each step in this process.)
Second, delete the 2nd HDHR tuners (with the bad configurations).
Do a scan on the first tuner in that 2nd HDHR device.
This will result in you having 2 sets of channels for each channel (1 on the 4 tuner HDHR and 1 on the 2 tuner HDHR).
Then, for the second tuner in that 2nd HDHR device, you should be able to accept the "copy the configuration" option because it should have preference to copy from another tuner on the same device over copying from a tuner on a different HDHR device. (Note: If I recall correctly, early in NextPVR v5, it didn't do that and would copy from the first HDHR type device it found. But that situation was fixed. But it's not something that people do often, so it's possible it won't work properly. Try it and see.)
Once you've verified that the channel settings are working OK on all 6 tuners, you can do an auto-merge of the channels to get them back to 1 set of channels on 6 tuners.
