Sub,
I tried that however (unless I did it wrongly) it seemed to have a size limit which stopped me uploading the file. David

There is nothing really obvious in the logs. You could try editing config.xml and setting <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType>

Hi,
How/where do I edit the config.xml ? David

Use notepad.exe and open "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\config.xml", then search for "BDAScanType".
Its worth backing up this file before you edit it. If you break this file, you'll most likely not be able to start GB-PVR.

Sub,
It worked (<BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType>), I'm over the moon. Not tested it yet but it is searching for the channels listing them as it finds them. Thanks for your help. David

If you still have one of your config.exe-native.log files from a BDAScanType1, I'd be interested in seeing it. If so, please email it to me at support@devnz.com

Sub,
I'm not sure what a BDA type 1 search is but I have sent the config.exe-native log file following a channel search. Thanks again, David

What I was really after was the logs from one of your failed scans, back when you had still had the original <BDAScanType>1</BDAScanType> setting. The log you sent shows the results after you switched to <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType>
Thanks anyway.

Sub,
I'll send you a log from when it did not work. Ta, David |
