NZ Freeview recording issue

when playing back NZ Freeview recorded TV it simply will not play
this appears to be for Choice & Prime channels only
yet the file size indicates that it has recorded

I've attached the logs

and many others recording report that too. Maybe check the cables etc.

I'll pull the system out and give everything a clean

have now done a major overhaul of leads etc
up spec them somewhat and it appears to have resolved the issue
simply hadn't seen any visible picture issues so wrongly amused all was OK
