Sky Arts DVB-T Freeview EPG missing

In UK there has been a recent channel update for DVB-T 11 Freeview which has added Sky Arts as channel 11. On my Freeview TV this channel is now visible and so is the EPG. On NPVR the channel is visible but the EPG entry is "(no show details)". However if I search for a programme on Sky Arts and select the discovered channel the EPG entry is available.

I've done an EPG refresh and attached the logs. (Have I attached the logs. Every time I attempt to upload them the tick and cross are greyed out. My attachment quota is exceeded yet all are deleted.) [attachment=undefined]

The forum only accepts log files that are less than 2 Meg

NextPVR sometimes gets in a pickle when UK Freeview channels move or get added.  Check in Channels in the Web App to be sure that Sky Arts and Pick are setup to receive OTA EPG.

Thanks for the advice. There was definitely something odd going on as there were duplicate entries for CH 11 Sky Arts. So I deleted the tuners and started again and Sky Arts is now working fine using the Windows app. CH11 doesn't play using the web interface as this fails with error "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)" after loading the data. This isn't an issue for me as I use the Windows app. This time I succeeded in adding the logs.

There are ffmpeg transcoding errors in nrecord.log at ... 2020-10-29 12:24:44 ... but ffmpeg is a mysterry to me ... hopefully someone useful will be along soon.

This kind of failure will probably require user testing and possibly a custom config.xml setting. NextPVR uses a "one size fits all" approach to transcoding and there are always going to be some failures.

Using a direct play client is the way and even then there are problem streams from time to time.

Thanks for this updates from Graham and Martin. To be sure I understand please confirm that this DVB-T channel is the stream that you refer to, rather than the Sky Arts IPTV stream that I sometimes use. Plus, why is it that the DVB-T channel can be viewed using the NextPVR Windows app but not using the web player on the same PC? Does this suggest that different transcoding is being applied? My, massively uninformed I know, guess would be that the transcoding is done in the NextPVR server hence should be identical. But I consistently get more reliable performance using the Windows app and am happy to remain with this.

The Windows app doesn't use transoding unless the source is an IPTV stream that sub doesn't consider acceptable.
