I have just been watching the EPG updating. While the window was counting down for one channel (ITV) the console of NPVR was saying things appeared to be complete. When the count down reached 0, everything went red for a while - and there were lots of messages about TS packages being damaged.

Is my memory correct, that over night downloads give a little more time?

That typically relates to Schedules Direct guide source.

The <EPGScanSeconds> seconds setting can be tweaked in config.xml to spend more time on each frequency though.

I have set that to 720 seconds and am waiting to see the result.
You definitely did include that fix you did for me in the build - thank you.

I received data for some channels, and not for others.
I deleted all EPG data and tried again.
It appears to be happening the same again.
One channel for which I have no listings is ITV.
I was watching while it was scanning ITV.
I saw several messages about TS packet damaged, and at least one about continuity counters.
I will let it run over night and check in the morning.
If not complete then, I will export the logs.

You'll probably need to find a way to capture a 1 minute full transport stream sample file, from a frequency that has incomplete listings. Put it somewhere link onedrive or dropbox, and let me know the download link, and I'll take a look at it here with my signal generator.

I'd have suggestions on how to capture that file on Windows, but no idea how you might do it on Mac.

Actually the method I was going to suggest for capturing the file from Windows won't work, since this is a SAT>IP device.

Can you try watching one of these channels with no listings, then post the logs? This will let me see the tuning info, and I'll try to describe a method to capture the stream.

Thanks sub,

I have watched about a minute on ITV which has no listing info, and then posted the logs in the same folder I shared with you earlier.

Ah, you're using an HDHomeRun. I don't know why I was thinking SAT>IP.

Your probably need to install the SiliconDust mac software from https://download.silicondust.com/hdhomer...un_mac.dmg

and from a terminal session run:
hdhomerun_config FFFFFFFF set /tuner0/filter "0x0000-0x1FFF"
hdhomerun_config FFFFFFFF save /tuner0 capture.ts

(where FFFFFFFF is replaced with your device ID)
