It does save the settings now although it is not communicating to the Nextpvr server. There are no recordings listed when I click on NextPVR recordings.

Did it work after using that meta.json or did you do something else? This is all magic to me.

After the update did you click the two scheduled tasks Refresh Guide Scan Media Library? Updating the guide is a resource hog and poorly desing, it take me over an hour for a simple update of around 200 channels. I was going to fix this in 10.7 but they broke the addon interface so often I haven't had time to look at it so I just delete library.db and start from scratch.

It was the meta.json that fixed the settings page. 

I tried the guide refresh and it didn't seem to work as I never saw the progress indicator do anything. I only have about 35 channels so it shouldn't take long. Also, it indicated that the plugin status was "Malfunction".

But I did get it all working finally.

I ended up uninstalling the plugin with the Jellyfin web app and then installing their NextPVR plugin. After that the plugin status changed to "Active", the guide refresh worked.

So, live TV works and my NextPVR recordings show up now.

Thanks that is kind of how I got it working to except on Linux I just used the addon from the store. It was never clear what caused it to work properly. Do you connect to the NextPVR on localhost or on another IP?

I just tried the Windows version 10.7 RC2 and got it working as well using the store addon. I had a bit of trouble getting SD to work but it finally took the settings and started working.

On both Linux and windows JF servers I used localhost to connect to NextPVR.

I saw that JF 10.7.0 rc3 was available a couple days ago so I downloaded and installed the deb file. It seems to work OK but I noticed that there is no option to select recording directorys like there is with the Nextpvr web client. I didn't notice this before but I assume it was not there in previous versions.

Does the NextPVR plugin for Jellyfin support multiple recording directories?

AFAIK the UI and API don't support recording diretories. Emby and Jellyfin are not as powerful as NextPVR or Kodi for scheduling features. They spend more time delivering posters and background art then providing functionality
