Greetings

I would like to know if you can help me, I have been using Locast and it works perfectly but when trying to record a Movie it hangs in Locast's own advertisements, which occur every 15 minutes, I was seeing that with Pluto they corrected the problem using https: // forums. nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=61463&page=2 with the streamlink utility, checking locast.py I see that it use ffmpeg, is there any way to use the same trick of pluto with locast?

Thanks for everything

Do you have a subscription to Locast, if not that would explain it. Also note I almost didn't respond because my policy is to ignore posts without them.

Greetings

Excuse my ignorance, when it indicates subscription is to be registered or to have made a donation? I am registered, but I have not made any donation.

Thanks.

Yes sorry I meant donation, since paying removes these ads. My experience was when I used their web page without a donation, when the ad comes on, the connection is broken so the addon experience is the same. Using streamlink to play the streams I had issues too.

Thanks. I think registering will help ad related issue. Sub deserves most of the credit since he made using Extras so easy and he even made changes in 5.1.1 to handle locast m3u8 streams better.

I really like the Locast service as an option for NextPVR users so I hope they don't change their API anytime soon.
