Schedule Recording problems

I can do a quick record but when I try to set up a weekly or series event it will not work. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a future show? A recurring recording doesn't get created for a show if the show is in progress, just future shows.

If you post logs of an attempt, we'd be able to see what is really happening. There are other cases where selecting a specific episode of a show and setting a recurring recording from it wouldn't schedule that specific episode the record. As Martin said, if that episode had already started. It could also be because that episode is in the recently deleted list (either because it had been recorded or because it was previously scheduled from a recurring recording, but then cancelled). It could also be because there was a different match for that particular episode (earlier time, different channel, etc.). In any of those cases, doing a Quick Record for that specific episode would cause it the be marked for recording.
