Good day Sub,

I shut down my PC...and, restarted my PC/NextPVR.  After NextPVR's Web App started running in MS Edge, I went to the TV Guide and selected one of the two broadcasts that show EPG information.  The broadcast I selected was on 5 Star Max East.  The program airing was "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" - Airtime 7/24/2021 08:50 AM - 10:54 AM (US Mountain Time).

I started the recording at approximately 9:16 Mountain time.  The recording only lasted for 1:36 minutes.  This is almost the same time as a previous recording I tried of a film called Chocolat - it only recorded Chocolat for 1:20 minutes.  The main difference between the two broadcasts is that Chocolat was broadcast at 1920X1080 @ 60 F/S, while the other was broadcast at 1280X720 @ 29.97 F/S.

Attached are the logs...Thank you for your help!

I just PM'd the EPG URL...

Attached is the output from the TV Guide URL with my account info "Stared" out.  I'm hopeful this M3U info will be satisfactory.  I would prefer to keep my IPTV account info confidential...unless it's absolutely necessary.  I hope you understand.

Thank You!

I needed you to PM me both the urls. ie, the m3u (which contains the streams) and the EPG url. I need both to be able to determine why the mapping isn't happening automatically. I need to check the tvg-id in the m3u matches the ids in the epg xml.

Hello Sub,

I did PM you the EPG URL earlier today...

The file attached to this post - "livetv (2).zip" - contains the exact same information you receive when you enter the IPTV service provider's address @ https://tv4.live***...Minus my account's username and password.  I don't want to sound uncooperative but shouldn't the livetv (2).zip be sufficient to check things out?  I'm a bit uneasy about having my account's username and password "out there" so to speak...

I also PM'd you the password to open the livetv (2).zip file earlier today.

Thank YOU!

I get it, but I did say "If you're ok with PM'ing me your m3u/xml urls, I can briefly check it for you". I can totally realize why there would be reservations about doing that. If you're not ok with sending the urls, then it's not straight forward for me to check it, so I'd usually not bother. Ultimately it's a lot easier for me to run it up in the application the same way you would. I will take a quick look in your files to see if I can spot the problem manually though.

Is it all the channels, or just some channels?

I haven't checked all the channels.  The two channels that I added the EPG info to manually, from the Channel settings, are the 5 Star Max East and A&E (East) US.  The 5 Star Max East channel will play a program,  that's selected from the Web App's TV Guide "Watch Now", for only a few minutes and then stops.  The A&E (East) US will either: 1) not play AT All and generates this error message "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)"; or 2) the A&E (East) US plays for only a few seconds...far less play time than the 5 Star Max East channel.

Once the play back stops, on either channel, if I then click on the pause/play button the program will play the same few minutes/seconds of video over-and-over again each time I select the pause/play button.  Also, once I receive the "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)", I can not exit the program using the stop button.  I can only exit by selecting TV Guide; for example.

When I select a channel to watch now, from the Web App's TV Guide without EPG info, the streaming service tries to start but then returns "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)" message.

Attached are a couple of videos from the A&E (East) US channel.  Note that the time in the left hand corner in the first video - Rev1...Is different than the time in the left hand corner than the second video - Rev2.  Yet, the content being played is the same.  And, what you're seeing in each video is ALL the content that will play b4 it stops.

Hope this helps!

I was specifically just looking at the mapping aspect at the moment, not the stream stopping (which is likely caused by your stream not keeping up with real time, and runs out of data)

Doesn't seem like I can add the videos to this post...they're sizes are 2.85MB and 3.52MB.  Is there another way I can send these video files to you?  Maybe via email....?

Both "5 Star Max (East)" and "A&E (East) US" look like the IDs match in the m3u and xml, so should end up with mapping that works after the import. It's kind of guess work without being able to try it though.

I'm not sure what these videos are - but typically you'd have to post these on external services, like onedrive/dropbox/etc.
