NextImport and side-by-side .ts and .mp4 files

It's around but there is is a new version of it coming for the new 5.2 interface that adds file size so NextImport is obsolete. I'd like to do some further testing with 5.2 final too.

Right now it has TV Mosaic and Emby importing and I can probably add SageTV if this page still works from the SageTV web server.

Thanks. I installed the Sage web interface and that URL still works. Although I did import NextPVR recordings into Sage so I may get duplicates.

If you could PM me a link to that JSON file I can confirm it would. My library was based on the file being on the same server so you might need to globally replace drive mappings.

For true duplicates it wouldn't be hard to remove the recording group you prefer with a simple sqlite script.

Ok I got the PM thanks. Noting your comment in the PM I did start a Kodi library import too but decided it wasn't worth the effort.

From the file I can distinguish the import recordings and skip them because they use the soon to be defunct tvdb API. The good thing of using this file frm Sage import is the same unique ID from SD is there, so duplicates can be avoided.

I've never "productised" the Emby support but you can try this.  It is untested so backup npvr.db3 first.

NextTool --emby "library"

where library is the full path to the Emby library.db.  It can and probably should be a copy of the Emby library.

Unzip the file into the NextPVR program folder

Will this work on Linux/Synology?

Linux no problem, but Docker you'd need to take be able to ssh into your Docker or your host to set it up. On either platform you'd need to make sure the file path looks the same and the Docker NextPVR can manage files on that mount. I'd have to change some defaults for Docker but I did that recently for the TabloTV extra so it shouldn't be hard.

I copied the 3 files to the "app" directory in the nextpvr docker but am not able to run it.  If I try to run NextTool.exe it says "NextTool.exe: command not found".  If I try ./NextTool.exe it says "./NextTool.exe: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error".

No it needs more  work for Docker but since you can get in that is key.  I need to add a file for Linux and give you an update.  I'll update this tomorrow.
