I saw this post fairly recently on the Kodi forum:-

I've actually added support for this request on my own skin mod of Estuary which I hope to release shortly, but just wanted to make sure you didn't have any kind of issue using the same kind of flag design as the NextPVR web app.

I do find these kind of flags are much more representative and informative than just seeing a '*', which is what Kodi currently displays. 
I didn't want to go ahead and use the same basic design without asking first. Grateful if you could you could let me know if you are okay with this.

Dumyat when you get a working skin please consider a PR against Estuary. While it might be difficult to get by ksooo, he has his vision for PVR, it would be worth a try, the * is not at all friendly.
