everything else working fine - well done sub!

I just can't update the EPG from DVB. Other update sources work OK and so does viewing of DVB channels.

Here's the error in config.exe's log:
25-Sep-05 8:11:28 PM.328 INFO [144] Auto-Updating EPG
25-Sep-05 8:11:28 PM.375 ERROR [144] Unexpected failed in DvbEpgReader.LoadChannels(): System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Length cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: length
at System.String.Substring(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length)
at GBPVR.Backend.Common.DvbEpgReader.LoadChannels(IEpgUpdateProgressCallback x421ce789b9741187)

thanks everyone!

Can you zip and post your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log files?

Incidentally, I'm reminded by that last entry: I'm not getting any OSD in LiveTV. Would that be because my dongle.bin is the 2004 version?

thanks

When click the 'Map EPG channels to digital channels' how many channels have you selected to retrieve listings for?

I assume you havnt changed the BDAScanType setting in config.xml? Only the default setting works.

Obvious really - if you look in the screen shot above, the channels listed on the right are the Freeview channel names but the ones on the left are from somewhere else (probably xmltv), so I had got out of sync after trying many different EPGs
solution was to delete all the capture & channel information and then re-scan and re-map
thanks for your help anyway sub!
