Hi All,
I'm pretty sure I posted about something similar a while ago but I can't find it - apologies!
Back then the issue was that the transcoder seemed to get disconnected from the player but continued running in the background and after a while you could have multiple transcoders running and run out of CPU cycles. This is not happening now.
Now, if I watch a programme which has either already started, or has finished recording and skip forward a few times to avoid commercials etc, at some point the stream will stop and not restart. I need to close it, go back in and play again.
The same thing can happen when watching live tv - it seems to me (but I may be wrong) that once it starts to happen, the frequency increases.
I had some idea that the web player was an open source project of its own which NPVR utilised, in which case nothing can be done here. I also don't use the web player too much so it's not a huge issue for me, just wanted to offer the feedback in case it helps. (It's been a month since I last used it for an extended period, so I doubt logs will still be there, but happy to provide if useful.
Cheers!
