It's already out. You won't see it in Kodi as well as the web app or NextPVR.exe since the programs will be mixed together, but you will see different art with pvr.nextpvr 19.0.1

Install the new version, then delete the existing Supermarket Sweep files from C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\media\shows, then view the Recordings webpage and it should list the two versions of the show separately, and give you the correct artwork for each of the two

Thank you! I did as you describe above and now I have correct artwork for each of the two versions of this program. In fact, I have three versions. I suspect the reason is that the artwork for the "old" version changed at some point. Both "old" versions of the artwork have pictures of David Ruprecht as the host. The "new" version has a picture of Leslie Jones as the host, which is correct. A couple things are perhaps noteworthy. First, I had to select only Schedules Direct as an artwork source. Previously, I had all options selected, thinking that I'd get something from one if other sources had nothing. If I select them all, the "new" artwork doesn't appear. Second, if I click on the "Recordings" tab of the web interface, I see all three versions of the artwork. If I click on "NextPVR", I see listings for "Recent" recordings and "Upcoming" recordings. There is a new version of the program set to record tomorrow, but neither it nor its artwork is showing in the upcoming recordings section. There is also a new version set to record next Sunday, but I suspect that day is out of the range of those listed in upcoming recordings. I've attached logs from just now in case they would be useful. Thanks again for the support!

Do you know if you imported a show at some stage? There is a situation we're discussing in another thread right now where shows that have been recorded have the correct show id to be grouped together, but if the user had imported a show without the id, it's grouped separately. ie, you might have shows with two real ids, and one with no id, and it's shown as three groups.

I have not imported a show, but while I was scratching my head over this problem, before the fix you made here, I went into Kodi to delete all recording rules associated with this program and then add two new recording rules associated with the "old" and "new" versions of this program. The "old" Kodi rule specified that channel it airs on and the new one specified its (different) channel. When I did this, I noticed that tomorrow's new program was not set to record, so I "forced" it to record this specific instance in addition to the rule for all remaining instances. This forced instance is that one whose artwork is not showing among the upcoming recordings. I looked a little deeper today and it now appears that tomorrow's program could be a repeat, which is why it wasn't set to record under the new rule. It will be interesting for me to see what, if any, artwork gets associated with tomorrow instance of this (new) program. I've double checked, and it is set to record. Thanks again for your help.

Try this these two updated dlls:

If your primary client is Kodi I still recommend you follow my original suggestion if you want to keep the two shows separate in Kodi. I am looking at ways to isolate the series in Kodi for Nexus.

Based on what you've said, I'm expecting to see separate and correct artwork in the web app and in NextPVR.exe. The above does not help me much because my primary client is Kodi (OSMC), so I'm wondering if I will see separate, correct artwork in Kodi. I'm guessing I won't, per your comment above. If I open Kodi (OSMC) now, I see one recording of Kodi available with the old artwork. The OSMC UI doesn't present artwork for upcoming recordings (or I don't know where it is if it does.) Meanwhile, if you're going to isolate the series in Kodi for Nexus, I'm wondering if that has implications for my setup. If it's going to fix my problem, I may just stand pat. At this point, I've not done the .dll swap or the workaround you suggested, Martin. I'm sorry to be thick. Thanks for your help.

You will get what you asked for. The correct artwork will be on the show in Kodi Matrix 19.0.1 I'm pointing out that the folder will mix the two series together. The left side will have S/E information but you won't see the art until your on the show. There are no sorts that will separate.
This is how it shows for movies as an example. https://imgur.com/a/hcJuZZt Please upgrade sub (and I to a lesser extent) put a lot of effort into what is a rather niche request. I don't know how OSMC works for binary addons but LE and CE for Matrix already have 19.0.1 Martin

I have pretty much no control over what you'll see in other client applications. |
