Update EPG: stock on 0

On the Settings->Guide screen, at the top is a list of EPG Source. Do you have any Schedules Direct lineups listed there? If not, then you'll need to hit the 'Add SD Channel Lineup' button, enter your zip code, find, add.

I tried to find my country in the list, but The Netherlands is not listed. What do I do?

In an older version of NextPVR there was a button 'Scan EPG' (or the like) and it effortlessly found all the programs.

I'm guessing you're not actually a Schedules Direct user (since they don't list The Netherlands as one of their country), so these steps aren't applicable to you.

Are you using a DVB tuner or IPTV to get your channels?

Are you using a DVB tuner or IPTV to get your channels?

I use a HDHomeRun device with four tuners. I can watch the channels live no problem, but to record them I need the EPG.

If you're in The Netherlands and using HDHomeRun, you should be able to use the DVB EPG. On the Settings->Channels page, click Advanced Tools -> AutoMap, and use that to map them to DVB EPG, then do an Update EPG.

I did that and the dialog told me it was updating. Sadly the update didn't stick, for when it was ready the EPG was still empty and the message below 'Update EPG' was 'EPG Update complete. [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]'. Can you advise any further steps?

BTW thanks for your quick replies; I donated US$20, something I should have done way back as I use the program on a regular basis.

It doesn't look like you have the HDHomerun software installed on this PC. That is a requirement for legacy tuning.
