I replace existing with new. Do I refresh the guide. Don't know if there's much I can do with existing recordings. Do you think there would be any kind of obvious difference or would it be more of a (hopefully) less unusual naming in future.

It's only going to try downloading the artwork you don't already have in your C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\media\shows directory, so delete any image+xml files in there that you want it to retry.

or just rename your C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\media\shows directory to "shows-old", and create a new "shows" directory, and see how it does with your artwork from now on. (it'll redownload existing stuff too as it needs it)

Those files go in C:\Program Files\NextPVR ?
They're also in C:\Program Files\NextPVR\client. Do I replace in both or will the one in client inherit the one from NextPVR ?

Updated to latest version and added those two files and renamed shows to shows-old. Shows is basically now empty.
Then went to Recordings and it added the now missing images.
Bit of a problem with Des and Inside the Red Arrows. The images were correct before (might possibly have changed them manually but doubt it). The Robin Hood one has also changed but still doesn't match the description.
Crocodile Dundee is a bit out. Full House is correct, think it was that generic Milky Way thing before.
Only need the newest bit of the logs I think.

I can't see "Inside the Red Arrows" on either https://themoviedb.org or https://tvmaze.com, so not surprised there is no art showing up for this show. ie, it doesn't look possible for NextPVR to automatically get artwork for that show. If you had them before though, you can just copy those files from your 'shows-old'

If you can zip and attach your C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\recording-backup.xml, I'll check on why Des isn't finding artwork. That one looks like it should work.

Fair enough about The Red Arrows, but presumably it shouldn't have Last Action Hero there.
