Are the settings for Skip forward and back set only by the client app?
I'm using the NextPVR client on Kodi (on a raspberrypi and windows 10). The skip settings are 10, 30, 1min etc.
Is there a way to fine tune these? I'd like to be able to set the forward skip to a number between 10 and 30 seconds and I'm not sure where I can make that adjustment.
I like to use DVRs/PVRs to shorten the time it takes to watch a football game. In addition to skipping commercials and halftime, I skip the dead time between plays. As soon as a play ends, I hit skip and they're all getting lined up for the next play. A 30 second skip is usually fine but some teams use a hurry-up offence and they're lined up and ready to go in 10 to 15 seconds. A 30 second skip is too much for those situations. In WMC, there was a registry setting for the skip length. I'm looking for something like that for NextPVR.
Also, in my setup, there are brief audio dropouts after a skip. The audio is fine for about 2 seconds after a skip but then drops out for about 250ms before coming back. It's just an inconvenience. I can live with it. It's not like a loud click or pop or some other annoying thing but it would be nice to get rid of it. Maybe it's just my setup.
