I've re-enabled that xmltv artwork code to check it, and I have to say I'm not that impressed with the artwork it's supplying. Quite a few are just a random screen grab. We get much better artwork for these shows from the other sources.

Most entertainment shows seem to be a random screen grab from the show, usually not with the main characters, and no text.

The gameshow / news shows are slightly better, and often feature a logo etc.

Yes, SD's artwork is much better. I get like 20 images for each show, and I can choose the best images from them.

Most of the shows you clicked on in that video were talk/news shows, and these posters weren't too bad. The few entertainment shows you click on showed the rubbish still frames (family guy etc).

If you can supply a set of logs, showing the startup of NextPVR, I'll check why. (it'll probably be tomorrow at this stage though)

Honestly, most of them aren't even a main actor. For 'Friends' it's a picture of Brad Pitt, who was only on a 1 episode. 'House' was a picture of a sick patient. '2 Broke Girls' I never remember seeing that guy.
