I need a guideline for Close Caption setup

I use PVR 250. I need a guideline how to setup close caption, please. By the way, my screen has a white dash line running on top of record tv. Does it involve? I've never seen in previous version of gbpvr.

if you mean the card driver registry settings to get closed captioning into the mpg file, look here:

if you mean gbpvr settings for playback/live, i don't know other than what's in config. i have it enabled but it doesn't usually work for me. i haven't pursued it yet.

i find that after a reboot, the first recording will not contain closed captioning, which forces me to make a sacrificial recording after every boot. see recent threads, esp:

Hauppauge should be ashamed of themselves for ignoring captioning.
