Auto delete missing recordings not working

Hello,
I've been trying to find a way to clear my recordings list of files I deleted through Windows Explorer. I verified the config.xml file is set to <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>true</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> but it's been over a month and they will not go away. I've tried restarting the recording service, but that doesn't help either. Is there a file I can go to to manually remove the entries from the Ready Recordings view? Not sure what else I can do. Thanks!

I guess I should have mentioned that I saw that post and checked to make sure they were all set to true.

<NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>true</NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>

Copied from C:\Users\Public\NPVR config.xml.

I don't follow this "If you have these defaults I will speculate it is how sub is defining "tree""

What is your default recording directory and where are the files you thinks should be removed be located? Tree might be a drive letter on Windows but I am not sure how this is define if you go deeper in the directory branches on Windows, on a share, or on non Windows platforms.

Nothing special, just an external usb drive F:\PVR

I deleted the show's folder.

Right but that is exactly what a "tree" is since most users don't want NextPVR deleting files if their USB drive is not inserted or powered up. If you change to this

<NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>false</NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>

the tree should get removed. I leave it to you to decide if you want to keep this setting afterwards.

Also, if you enable verbose logging, it logs some more detailed messages when loading the recording list, like the value of each of those settings, and if any of those files was found to be missing.

You can enable verbose mode on the Settings->About page, by holding the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and clicking the button that appears.
