I have been discussing this common PVR150 occurrance with Hauppauge.

Can you please post the exact Model and Rev of your capture device? Its printed on the tuner label on the board. Can you also tell me which country you have configured you capture source for, and whether you have selected Cable/Antenna?

Hopefully this info will help Hauppauge get to the bottom of it.

stefan Wrote:I would not recommend the registry tweak unless you really feel you have to. Since many versions of gbpvr you can enter the frequencies directly in the config app instead of channel numbers. That way you don't have to screw up the registry. For example, if you know that the frequency is 216Mhz, you enter 216000000

I was unable to find the frequency with any accuracy
i was able to write down the freq as tuning assistant was locking in the channels (ran it again to see if it would pick them up )

i was hoping to get and idea and then thru trial and error hopefully lock in a channel and go from there
i actually had no luck with that

then i have copied the hauppauge registry enteries and replaced the microsoft entries did this with and export of the haup and then rename of the location and then an import
and still no luck

any ideas
thanks

replaced original entries from here
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune\TS0-0]

with entries from here
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hauppauge\Channels\Library\0\1\0]\\

this is what ferq copy does right ?

Hi,

I have had a similar problem with the loss of audio, it has only just started to happen. So I assumed it was caused by the latest version. I re-installed several times and retuned several times to no avail. I have now reverted back to 93.10 and the audio is now working ok..... So far....... 2 days
If I have a problem with this version I will let you know.
