There's the missing controls on the bottom of the settings image. BTW that "settings" image is a "fixed" res and can not be blown up or down in size so if you have just the "wrong" display res - it could over-fill the display and have the bottom cut of. I feel sooooooo dumb right now. Beers are on me ! <grin> Let me see if I can now get some changes made. The MISSING Control buttons are circled. Geeshhhh I knda feel sorta "stupid". Duh !In fairness to you, it's an application problem that was stopping you from seeing this.
It's not a fixed resolution. The screen is set to scale, and for most people it does. A small number have had this issue over the last 10+ years though, and I'm not sure of the reason.
I'm running two 27" monitors at 150%, and one 24" monitor at 100%. The scaling works fine on my screens.
I still have two MAJOR issues, 1. the playback problems with freezing, stuttering and lockup etc.) and 2. a really bad problem with the program "navigation" or item selection errors. #2 is making it almost impossible to actually get my wanted events option applied to the correct item.
SO FAR now that I can actually change the "Settings" codec page options it hasn't helped at all. AND best I can tell every show that has been recorded shows NO info about the codec that was used. ALL the NextPVR recordings have the codec info "blank". However other videos that I have moved over to this PC that were not recorded by NPVR DO all show their full video codec name and version number. I think in an earlier comment mvallevand might be correct. LOOKS like the LAV codec isn't installed. BUT it IS, as when I play any "non NextPVR generated video" the media player shows all the codec data. But when I play a show recorded by NextPVR with the same 3rd party media player the codec data field is BLANK. Only NextPVR generated video is lacking any codec data but all other videos do show the codec data..
So we started to mess with "codecs" originally to make sure the LAV codec was working. Still looking for some kind of stand alone utility that can find and display all the codecs being used in a windows 11 op system. At this point I only have the Media player option available for testing.
Still living with video playback problems... Sigh What's next ?
