Occasional delay during skip/playback

On a video with ComSkip enabled where I press skip (30 second) near the start of a commercial block, sometimes the video will hang but the audio will continue. I've had this happen several times now, I was able to exit and resume playback.
Today I was able to capture it with minimal activity going on. This time I waited and the video did resume, so I grabbed the logs right away.

From the NPVR.log, it would have been around this time:
2023-10-27 09:15:00.401 [DEBUG][1] In commerical, and about to skip to 2331.46. Duration is 8096.312. Position is2061.5398759

This is with the NPVR app running on the server itself. Also, Thumbnails are disabled.
    <ExtractThumbnails>none</ExtractThumbnails>
    <GenerateTiming>false</GenerateTiming>

This may be related, the commercials are starting sooner than the comskip block, which is why I press skip.

Maybe unrelated but NextPVR.exe skipping is much more accurate with timing generation enabled if you use it you probably should leave it enabled.

Maybe try the manual generation on that file and see if it helps.

Don't know how to do that. Would it be the Generate Thumbnails?

Yes it should create both even if they are disabled.

I don't need either my UI clients skip fine without timing and with comskip, are you sure you can't enable just timing via config.xml

No, I get no timing file with the thumbnails disabled. I tested both settings (even rebooted).
I did have some skip issue with yauiclient as well (delayed response), but was holding off letting you know since I was seeing issues with the main client.
I'm now wondering if it is an issue with some of the recordings (antenna signal), so I'll do more testing on my end.
