My subtitles are way ahead of the actual audio on NextPVR 6.1.5.  I just recently built a new computer and installed this new version...I've been using version 4 on the old computer.  The computer running version 4 has no issues with subtitle delay even when viewing the same shows that v 6.1.5 has issues.  I've tried changing the DVBSubtitlesPESDelay in config file, but it has no effect.  In case it helps, I only have "disable" and "closed caption" as options on the Alt-Y menu.  Any suggestions for how I can get this better syncing on the new version?

Perhaps try yauicclient and see how the subtitles work, I am curious how bad the subtitle timing is in the file. The link is here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=64649 and the wiki is here https://github.com/emveepee/Testing/wiki/yauiclient G will toggle subtitles.

Alt-Y is undocumented, I didn't know that one, the documentation shows ctrl-x

Thanks for the suggestion...the subtitles work beautifully on the client you suggested.  I'll work on converting my remote control script to focus on the new program window, but I think that may be the perfect solution.  Thanks for the suggestion (and for writing the nice client!)

And in case anyone finds this in the future...CTRL-X is what I meant to type in the original message (also should have specified it is the nextPVR.exe windows client I was using).

OK good too know, yauiclient supports ctrl-x too so you shouldn't have to change anything. There are some single key combinations because I don't like to use two hands on my mini wireless remote.

Thanks for the feedback, there are many reasons why NextPVR.exe is better especially with the mouse and overall response time but I am happy with yauiclient and am used to UI clients in general.
