But a TLS recorded via NPVR has no sound if played in VLC, and "transcoder exit" happens if I watch live in a browser. Again, the issue is intermittent depending the programme - but mainly failing.I spent some time trying to reproduce this, but couldn't see any issues. Audio was fine. Transcoded fine etc. Apologies for the very slow reply, I was travelling. I'm seeing the "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)" message right now - a little after 6pm - when looking at "Frasier" live via the web browser. But in my last I tests was seeing that error with most shows if viewed in the browser - this is just the one that happens to be on now. So I started recording "Frasier", then went to watch it a minute or later (also via the browser). A commercial was playing and it had sound, as did Frasier when the program resumed. Thus, Frasier is not one of the programs with the audio issues. Fwiw, the ones I most persistently failed to record with sound in earlier tests were the Rugby World Cup matches. Hope that helps a little. I'll randomly record a few ongoing Prime shows in coming days and report if any have sound issues.

I also was having the same issue with Sky Open under Version: 6.1.5.231022 and the downloaded NShared.dll cured the problem.
Thanks
